FAQ's

  1. If I'm not satisfied with my purchase, what is your return policy?

If the item received does not meet your expectations or is defective, it can be returned for a full refund provided it is returned undamaged within 30 days of the invoice date. Re-use of original packing materials is strongly recommended.

  2. I am uncertain as to how a photograph should be properly framed. Can you advise me?

If the photograph you purchased is not mounted or matted, take it to a reputable framer, one who has some experience handling fine art photographs. Photographs are easily damaged if not handled properly. Ask the framer to "corner mount" the print onto a 4-ply mount (backing) board made from acid-free material. The print should then be "over matted" with a 4-ply or 8-ply window mat which is usually hinged to the mount board. The photograph is now ready to be fitted to a frame of your choice. It is recommended that the frame be glazed with an acrylic material such as Plexiglas rather than regular glass for safety purposes. If the photograph being framed is color, it is recommended that Plexiglas with a built-in ultra violet filter be used to protect against fading. For more details on the fine art of framing, please contact us by e-mail or phone.

  3. Can I buy a photograph from you that is already framed?

We can assist you with proper framing and matting prior to your receiving the photograph and ship it to you ready to hang but there are some limitations with the style of frame molding. Because you cannot see sample moldings prior to choosing, you may be limited to simple, standard moldings such as black wood, black, white or silver metal section frames unless you can provide detailed specifications. If you choose to go this route, we will do all we can to accommodate your preferences.

  4. Can I charge my purchase with a credit card?

    4. If you subscribe to PayPal, you can use your credit card for purchases, otherwise you may utilize any of the other payment methods under "Purchasing Options."

  5. What about shipping?

Generally, shipping is via United Parcel Service (UPS) Second Day Air, insured or via FedEx. If you prefer to use another carrier or delivery schedule, please specify and shipping charges will be adjusted accordingly.
